No matter how long I am killing me with this torture No matter how long I hate these things I am burdened with
Dressed up in white jeans which were skinny jeans. They had a belt in the loops which was studded no less, and a white and gray and black checkerboard scarf that was attached to the back that looked like a skirt back. The scarf/skirt was itself, warn out, ripped and distressed from years of use. His top was no different although it had cuts in the lower half of the back, like some of the girl jeans had now a days. The shirt was white but underneath it was a black skin tight shirtsleeve shirt. The white shirt had a dress shirt look to it but still looked like a t-shirt. A few rings on his fingers, his nails painted black, his left ear pierced a couple of times, his other ear the same. Sunglasses covered up the eyes, which held a brown color to them as well as make up. White eyeliner half way or less to the bottom of the in the corners closet to the nose. While the other half had black eyeliner, the eyelid's held black eyeshadow and in the ridge area near the brow had a brown greenish color blending in with the black eyelid. What was this guy? Goth? Of no. Visual Kei. A genre of music in Japan, it tends to sometimes focus more on the look than on the music...Think KISS in a way. When Daisukie reached the entrance to the Crazy Cafe, he had just gotten offline with Tali, and had hopes of meeting her here. He hoped at lest. He looked around for some girl who had a wisconisn look to her, but found it pointless. He shook his head as he sighed, he stopped by a table, unsure of where to sit, and Where to go. He hoped he could find Tali. Why was he nervous? She was a person right? A New In town person, he himself hadn't been here that long. As far as he knew Tali wasn't one of the group of many teen girls in the booths. Daisukie glanced at the door before sitting down at the two person table and looked at the menu, Crazy Cafe Yea, right...It's mellow yellow walls weren't too crazy. He wasn't sure what to get, seeing as he got Hot Chocolate from Starbucks. Not a huge Coffee drinker, Daisukie's brown eyes made their way to the door once more. She said she was here right now right? Than were was she? Maybe she was at another Cafe? No...This was the only one the small town had-right? A waiter came up to him once, and asked if he was ready, he declined, and told him he was waiting for a friend. When the waiter left he noticed a few of the girls were staring at him, he figured it was cause of his hot looks-or, if he wasn't being so egotistical...He figured it was his clothes. Oh, great...She'd think he was a freak! Wait- He was in a band, a rock type band...So maybe she'd except something like that...Maybe. ;;Words:543;; ;;Tag- Tali's it!;; ;;Notes-Poor Dai!;;

---------------------------------------------------- Hello, hello my little miss sunshine Wake up, wake up, you know you'll always be mine Can't you see that I can't be anything without my baby?! ----------------------------------------------------The moment Dai had gotten offline, she wondered if he would actually show up, but since she had nothing better to do, she did indeed decide to stick around. After all, what would she lose? Ordering herself another mellow yellow, she soon found herself having to retreat to the bathroom some time into her wait. So the moment Dai did indeed arrive to the cafe, Tali was hiding away in the bathroom, but not on purpose. Finishing up her business there, she stared up into the mirror, her gorgeous face staring back with those emerald eyes glittering within her olive hued skin and rosy lips curled into a gentle smile. Dark brown hair was pulled back into a messy bun, held together only by two pens that she had handy. A black zip up hoodie rested upon her torso, the zipper down far enough for everyone to see the gray Jack Skelington t-shirt that resided just below. Her pants were simply black bell bottoms, the pant legs hiding her black C1RCA classic shows with their white laces with black socks resting just beneath that. The sleeves of her hoodie held little holes where her thumbs hooked through as she stared at her figure once again. She wasn't really nervous about meeting someone new, that was just an everyday thing for her. Yet she was feeling anxious, she blamed her goals for enrolling in college for that feeling. Pulling a pen cap out of her hoodie pocket, she put it between her lips then headed back out into the cafe, pushing past the woman's bathroom door. In that very instant, she saw the one person that stood out far more then she had expected. From the looks, it certainly was Dai since he held the look of a normal j-rocker. Their odd attire was often the reason she was not so much into them since she preferred the music over their looks. Plus, she couldn't understand Japanese to begin with and often times, songs sung in Japanese were never as good when sung in English. She was also wearing her normal pink headphones with a matching MP3 player tucked away in her hoodie pocket. As always, it was playing Wicker, her latest obsession and she was hoping to meet the band sometime now that she was in Cali. Though she wasn't going to hold her breath on that since Cali was indeed a big state. Not the biggest, but still pretty big and she didn't see Wicker coming to a small town like this to do a show. Mentally shrugging away her thoughts, she jaunted away from the bathrooms and over to where she was originally sitting. Snatching up her mellow yellow, laptop and stuffing that into her messenger bag, she moved towards Dai, or who she hoped was him. Coming up behind Dai, she spoke playfully to him, " So, are you the one who ordered some entertainment?" she teased as she moved around him and sat down across from Dai, " Also, how do you say your name? I can't help but think you would pronounce it like die, right?" she queried him once again, this time in a more serious tone. Oddly enough, about her first statement, she was sort of in the 'entertainment' business. Least that's what her pimp always called it. She was entertaining her clients after all, just not in your normal legal ways. Pushing those thoughts quickly aside, she focused back on Dai, " And you really take your j-rockness to the extremes, huh? If I wouldn't know any better, I would have thought you gay," she stated honestly, but she knew that didn't mean he could still be gay. Some reason, she was beginning to truly think he was though, from the fact he ignored her hooking up with girls comment for the funeral and now his attire. But she wasn't going to be one to judge after all! Gays were often very fun to hang out with. Then again, anyone interesting was fun to hang out with for Tali. ----------------------------------------------------

Daisukie looked up at the shadow that loomed over his table. He Gave a small laugh as the woman gave a question about entertainment, so was this Tali? He gave a nod and spoke, looking at her outfit, a black hoodie, black bottoms, and a gray shirt with a character from some movie, he had seen when he was about six, who the character was, he wouldn't be able to tell you. When questioned about how to say his name, he spoke up "Yes, Daisukie..Er- Die-Sue-Key...If that helps. He gave a laugh when she asked him if he was gay, he got that quite a lot. He took his sunglasses off and looked at her, he hoped his make up wouldn't make her think, for certain that he was gay. He wasn't. "I-I guess....You should see Mana, he's a famous singer of a band, he dresses in Gothic Lolita dresses. Most American's think He's a girl, and well, that goes for a lot of us, J-rockers. Sorry, I didn't know what to wear-I can see now that This most likely was not the way to dress... He gave a laugh and motioned for her to sit. He feared he spoke too much, would that be a thing that she disliked? Daiukie hoped not. "And I like girls, by the way. But you can still take me shopping, no worry's! Crap!! He hoped she could get past his somewhat still thick accent, he knew English, as he had been taught it in middle school. Daisukie Hoped he hadn't used any words wrong or anything.

---------------------------------------------------- Hello, hello my little miss sunshine Wake up, wake up, you know you'll always be mine Can't you see that I can't be anything without my baby?! ----------------------------------------------------' Daisukie', she repeated mentally mostly so she wouldn't get it wrong and she did notice his accent lacing each word he spoke, but that didn't bother her at all. But what he said after was very true. A lot of j-rockers looked like girls and truly could pull it off. It was a bit disturbing, sure, but on the same notion, Tali was not one to get stuck up on looks. After all, it was how the person acted that was who he or she was, not how they dressed! Already though she was beginning to notice he either enjoyed talking or simply liked hearing his own voice. It was difficult to tell at the moment since she just met him, so for now she gave him the benefit of the doubt. Who knows, maybe he was just nervous? Putting herself in other people's shoes was often the way Tali rolled and helped her understand people far better then she understood herself. " I do enjoy those Gothic Lolita dresses," she informed Daisukie with a firm nod, " though, if you were to wear one, I'd have to claim you as my lesbian lover if anyone dared to ask," she giggled with a bright smile following her words. Taking a quick sip from her soft drink, she shook her head slowly at his following comment. " We'll have to see about that. If you are like any other guy and will just say I look nice in anything I wear, then I will have to find myself someone else to shop with," she told him honestly. Shopping was after all the one time the people that tagged along were suppose to be honest! It would be awful to buy something she looked horrible in. Noticing he was wearing make-up, it made her wonder how she even looked without anything. She couldn't really afford much for make-up and since she didn't see the point in getting much, she only got simple powder in order to hide some skin imperfections. Beyond that, she only had what she packed which was some mascara and lipstick, but she was only going to wear those for important things such as a job interview. Wearing it at any other time just seemed pointless to her since it was a waste of her limited supply of money. After all, she had to feed herself and pay for her hotel and soon schooling more so then anything else. " So, since you are still in high school, ain't your parents around or did you divorce them, so to speak?" she decided to question. It wasn't her fault, she was naturally curious and seeing as how she didn't know, it was a good thing to ask! ----------------------------------------------------

Gothic Lolita dresses. Daisukie smiled, as he tried to picture her in a dress. He was taken back by the comment on the lesbian lover. He Gave a small laugh and although it was a strange comment he could see it happening. "Well, I wouldn't object to either one of those. Daisukie hoped it wasn't a bad comment to make. He looked at the drink as she sipped it. He wandered what it was. But he wasn't thirsty so it didn't matter. "I'd be honest with you in clothes. He told her, he was honest with his friends. No doubt about it. When she asked about him his parents he shrugged, rolling his shoulders. He gave a glance at the girls behind him, as they talked, he heard only a few things here and there, That Guy. Why is she with him? and She could do SO much better Daisukie just shrugged them off, he was somewhat used to it. And replied to her comment after a moment of silence. "My dad's still in Japan, my mom died when I was fourteen. Due to stress problems. Most likely my cause, or I didn't help much. Anyways...What about you? He said, he had gotten over his mother's death. Well, at times the not knowing if it was his fault or not, hung over him.

---------------------------------------------------- Hello, hello my little miss sunshine Wake up, wake up, you know you'll always be mine Can't you see that I can't be anything without my baby?! ----------------------------------------------------It was rather nice to have someone playing along with her magical way. Humor was after all the best way to go and Dai had some humor, that was for sure! Though part of her believed he actually would run around in a Lolita dress just for the hell of it. Which was sort of scary and sort of not, but she wouldn't dwell on that picture for too long. Realizing her music was still playing, she pulled her MP3 player out and turned the music down so she could hear everything around her a bit better. His comment on being honest caused her to smile brightly, but the moment she caught the words of the girls nearby, she turned her gaze towards them. Watching as Dai also turned around to look at them, she knew full well that he heard what they were saying. That only caused her to give a deviant grin as her mind worked quickly, noticing they both had a dark soda in front of them. Pepsi or Coke, it didn't matter as she stood up and let her gaze focus on Dai, " One moment please," she stated before trotting over to the table with the two girls. " So, enjoy talking about people behind their backs? What a shame, here, let me help you finish these drinks," she stated as she picked up both cups and dumped them out into the hair of either girl. Emptying every drop onto the two girls, Tali set the cups down onto the table and planted her hands on the edge as she leaned forward, a smile still playing on her lips, " So, next time you decide you want to mock someone, do it to their faces, especially if you see me around, cause I will do far worse to your prissy little figures. After all, you two look like you need a few extra pounds on those bones." Though her words were hostile in form, her voice held a sweet tone to it and with all that said, she departed from the table. Sitting back across from Dai, she listened to his comment about his parents and nodded softly, " Well, I had nothing of the sort happen, but I was kicked out of the house at eighteen and been living on my own ever since," she spoke truthfully, but left out many details about what she did during that time. He didn't need to know those gruesome details as far as she was concerned. Taking another sip of her soda, she finally saw that Dai had nothing to drink, " You going to order yourself a soda or something? Or would you just want to steal some of my mellow yellow?" she queried as she dared to offer her soft drink to Dai. Tali rarely worried about germs since she rarely got sick to begin with and the few times she did get sick, it was often very bad, but even those times didn't last more then a few days at best. So what possible germs could Dai have that her body couldn't fight off? ----------------------------------------------------

As he watched her walk over to the girls, he had not seen what Tali was going to do. Dai's mouth was left hanging open, she had drenched the girls in their soda pop and Dai had to force his mouth shut as the girls huffed and left in a rush. He saw Tali walk back to the seat and offered her story to him. So, she got kicked out of her house? Yikes! Daisukie gave a small nod and looked at her Yellow Mellow as she offered it, he licked his lips, it did look good. And he was surprised that she had offered it. He gave a nod "Can I? And Well, at lest you got a head start on living on your own. He said, and than thought of something, when he got the drink, and he took a quick sip and handed it back to her [color-red]"Hey, You can come and stay at my place. If you want-I mean, staying at a hotel with cockroaches is not fun, right?[/color] He asked and gave a small laugh.
Why had he offered it? He wanted some company, and he was sure she would love some as well. And although he might have been to fast in mentioning such an idea, he hoped she would accept it. He also hoped he knew it wasn't him trying to hit on her. "I'm not hitting on you..Just to let you know. You are pretty, but I'm not looking as of now. He hoped that would clear some of the things he said up.

---------------------------------------------------- Hello, hello my little miss sunshine Wake up, wake up, you know you'll always be mine Can't you see that I can't be anything without my baby?! ----------------------------------------------------Tali was quite proud of what she did to those stuck up prissies and she had no regrets. If they had a problem with her, then that was going to be their biggest mistake. As for Tali, she believed she did what was right, after all it was rude to mock someone behind their back, especially when they were in ear shot and you were whispering. If you have something to say, you should say it to the person's face, not behind their back like some coward. In the offer of her soda, she nodded firmly towards him, letting him know it was okay. She was twenty-four and that meant she didn't believe in cooties like so many children do. No, she was far too old to believe in such nonsense so she happily let him taste her drink as he took it from her hand. Though what came after made Tali raise a brow as she stared at him. Certainly she needed a place and it was better to room with him then some other complete stranger. Least with Dai she sort of knew him, at least enough to know he wouldn't try to rape her during the night. Thinking about it carefully, she slowly smiled at his following comment. " N'aw, you're not trying to hit on me? What a shame. Here I was hoping for a long night, oh well," she stated teasingly, " but in all truthfulness, I am also not looking for a relationship of any sort. Been in enough for the time being, so sort of want to be on my own, least in the case of having a significant other," she informed him. She didn't feel like leading him on after all, so she figured she would be straight forward with her feelings towards dating at this time being. " And I would enjoy staying with you. I can help with the rent, I do have some money saved up, but most of it will be going to my college tuition and other expenses," she added on. Some reason, she believed he needed to know about her finical requirements and that she was going to college. " Your place does have two bedrooms, right?" she decided to query, wanting to make sure that she wouldn't be stuck in the same bed as him or sleeping on the couch. Not that she'd care too much, it would just be better to have her own bed. She had enough men in her bed to last her a life time after all. So having her own bed completely to herself would be nice for a while. Hopefully she wouldn't get sick of the loneliness since she was so use to someone being there with her. ----------------------------------------------------

As she started to tease, Daisukie gave a small grin. She had humor, and she wasn't an airhead. Something he really admired about girls, she so far, had quality's he liked in a girl. I mean, Tali was funny, smart, pretty, and could hold her own. Daisukie let his brown eyes wander over the cafe. When she started to speak again. So she wasn't looking for anyone else either, Daisukie looked at the waitress as she handed him the paying book thing. He took it, although he hadn't ordered anything, he could see a piece of paper that had a number on it. A phone number, he shook his head, and took the paper out, and put it in his pocket. Daisukie got up from the table, book thing in hand and stopped when he got closer to Tali, leaned down and whispered, his voice playing with a seductive, yet teasing tone. "Well, I can if you always want me to. And I always have that Gothic Lolita Dress, if you want to barrow it. He smiled and stood back up, he grinned at her before giving the waitress the book back and than as he walked over to their table he sighed, a happy one though. As he sat back down he heard Tali tell him about her finalcel area, well, he was gonna get a job at hotTopic, to help with what his Gig money wasn't paying for rent. He made a slight frown "Right now, yes. But the second bedroom has nothing in it. And The only setting I have is a couple of chairs, and they wouldn't be too comfortable to sleep in. Sorry. You okay with that though Right Tali-Chan? He had just slipped up. Chan, it was used as a term of endearment between lovers when it wasn't being used by two girl's who were friends. He blushed slightly and muttered a soft sorry.

---------------------------------------------------- Hello, hello my little miss sunshine Wake up, wake up, you know you'll always be mine Can't you see that I can't be anything without my baby?! ----------------------------------------------------The waitress, Tali had noticed her before, but in the moment she handed the book over to Dai made her very curious. Fact was, Tali knew full well that Dai didn't order a damn thing and Tali already paid for her soda, so that meant it was personal. Rolling her eyes, Tali could barely believe that people were like that. First there were two people mocking behind his back now someone giving him something? Most likely a number and probably a call me written upon the paper. She wanted to get up and do something, but she simply sat there as Dai stood up and moved closer to her. Forcing a smile at his words, they did in fact amuse her, but her irritation was simply too much to ignore for her as her mind rolled with the irritation that simply grew. Turning her gaze, Tali watched as Dai approached the woman, handing back the book she gave him. Again she rolled her eyes before turning away and finishing her soda. Within Tali's mind, she was playing little scenarios of her getting up and bashing the woman over the head with a chair. Sad that wouldn't be the smartest thing to do in real life. Yet the thought was always pleasing for Tali. Blinking slowly, she watched as Dai came to sit back down and continued with their conversation. Swiftly noticing he called her Tali-chan, she perked a brow carefully, " Never call me that again. I know what it means and I'd rather not be referred to as that," she stated rather bluntly. Plus it reminded her of one of her clients, a regular that always used that when he was referring to her. Always made her shudder when he said it in front of her. Though Dai didn't need to know all the little details as to why she would prefer to avoid that little add on to her name. " And that's fine, I can probably afford a basic mattress with the hotel money I set aside," she informed him casually. Pulling out her cell phone, she decided it was best to give him her number since they were going to be roommates now, " So you know, here is my number," she stated as she flipped her phone open and went to the screen that held her number. Setting her phone onto the table, she turned it around so he could see and pushed it closer to him, " this way you can contact me if anything happens." Tali giving him her number was not some sign like the last woman that did it, it was simply courteous and allowed him to call her if he was going to have someone over or wanted to know something. After all, they were now roommates. " Well, I suppose we can head out and see your apartment now, maybe?" she queried, wanting to get out of the cafe, mostly because of all the girls around, but also because she wanted to see what she signed herself up for. ----------------------------------------------------

Dai's post No matter how long I am killing me with this torture No matter how long I hate these things I am burdened with
He hadn't meant to say that. Really, it had just slipped out. When Tali did say that she knew what it meant and to never call her that again. He sinked into his chair a bit. Her tone, if she had meant it or not sounded like anger and disgust, and perhaps, irritation? He had said sorry right? Maybe she had an ex who had said that to her...Daisukie didn't feel much like asking about her past right now. When she slid her phone over to him, he took out his Iphone and put her number in, and texted her, Sorry for adding -Chan..It slipped. Never happen again. Promise. He hoped that'd smooth things over. When he handed her back her phone, she asked if they could leave and go to the apartment. He nodded his head as he stood up, pushed in the chair and pocketed his Iphone. "Sure. That would work..And than Shopping for a mattress? He asked her, as he made his way to the glass door, which he held open for Tali. A nice polite thing to do. He was taught to be that way by his father, and he could never Not do that. It was just a part of him.
